Returns Procedure

We at motorhead.lk always try and provide the best goods and services that we can so that you will be satisfied, however we understand that sometimes you may need to return or cancel an order

  • Before returning any goods please read our Terms and Conditions.
  • Any products returned must be in a re-saleable condition & include the original packing and documentation.
  • Motorhead must be informed of any return requests within 7 days of the original order date.

Return Policy

Electric & Electronic parts cannot be returned once sold

If a customer wants a refund on an item purchased through the website, they must inform Motorhead before 12PM of the same day the order is made. If they made their purchase after 12PM they should inform Motorhead before 12PM of the next working day.

If a customer wants to return a product after the delivery has been made, then they should bring the product to Motorhead’s Panchikawaththe office. The Delivery Cost will not be refunded

Refunds

After the Delivery & payments done

If Cash on Delivery

If the customer pays upon delivery, the cash cannot be refunded after the payment is made. The customer will receive their refund through a cheque or a bank transfer, this may take up to 5 days after the product has been returned. The delivery cost cannot be refunded.

If Online transaction

If the customer has paid online, the money cannot be refunded through the website. The customer will receive a cheque or a bank transfer, the customer will have to provide us their bank account name, number, bank name and bank branch to receive their refund. The refund may up to 5 days after the product has been returned. The delivery cost cannot be refunded.

If card payment (using Hyper Com)

If a customer pays through his card, we can arrange for a refund at the time of payment. After the payment has been settled we cannot give a refund through Hyper Com. If the customer wants a payment after the payment is settled, the customer will receive a cheque or a bank transfer, the customer will have to provide us their bank account name, number, bank name and bank brach to receive their refund. The refund may take up to 5 days after the product has been returned. The delivery cost cannot be refunded.

Return of Specialist Products

Return Procedure

Certain products are treated specially for legal and/or health and safety reasons, It is important for your own and our couriers safety that they are followed. Aswell as the above procedures the below must also be adhered to.

Car Batteries

Batteries must NOT be removed from the sealed bag –

Batteries must be returned in the original, un-damaged box. – Failure to do so will result in the courier NOT collecting the product.

Once your return is authorised an acknowledgement will be emailed to the address used on your original order.

Lines are open 8:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday. Any products returned without a valid Returns Authorisation number will be refused.

Please return your item(s) in original packaging and ensure that all packages are securely wrapped. You must include a copy of your Returns Authorisation form in with your item(s), failure to do so will delay your refund

The customer is responsible for all postage costs for products returned under our Returns Procedure unless this has been specifically agreed and confirmed in advance with the Customer Services Department.

Motorhead.lk will not accept responsibility for loss or damage of goods during transit

All returns must be received within 7 days of receiving a Returns Authorisation Number.

Upon receipt, all products will be inspected and at our discretion, credit may be refused.

Any Packages received without a valid Returns Authorisation number on the outside will be refused.
